Really beautiful assets with a lovely quality and character to them. They have a perfect amount of detail to work well on larger map sizes without being overwhelming. I'd love to see more pixel art from you.
This is really impressive and a godsend. There's a decent chance we will and up using this as a baseline for our game if we can get it to fit how we want to make our maps since we don't have an atrist to make assets just yet. Of course credit is always given to everyone who helps me with my game directly or indirectly.^^ Thank you for making something so awesome and making it accessible for devs to use.
Marvellous! I will use these for the prototype of my game. Thank you very much! The color palette you are using in combination with your artstyle look gorgeous!
I am not sure that I understand description... Do you mean that CC-BY4 is applied only when person paid for asset?
Anyway. As creator you have right to dual license but if you mean that license is one and it is CC-BY4 so the description is inconsistent. The point of CC-BY4 is in sharing so your custom license is incompatible with cc-by4
I've added Aseprite files for the critters into the folder for those who requested them some time ago.
Thanks again everyone for all the support!
I'll be busy with real-life/work commitments for the next couple of months. However, once things calm down a bit, I'll surely get back to making more of these.
I will make all of the next assets free for all as well and I'll be sticking to my favorite style: isometric perspective as this is the style I love the most.
Please understand that progress may be slow, as I have work commitments. I'll be working on these in my spare time.
Apologies to those inquiring about commission work. Due to the reasons above, I'm unable to take on any commissions at the moment. Once I've sorted out these, I'll consider opening up commissions for those interested in custom work.
Again, Thank you all so much for the love and support! It really puts a lot more meaning to the things I did and will be doing. Love you all! <3
Hi! Unfortunately i am unable to accept any for the moment! once I do sort out all my stuff I will surely find a way to set something up for custom work! Thank you!
I am still working on the new tileset bit by bit but due to irl stuff it has been going really slow. But I am excited to eventually beef it up with all kinds of content!
Wow! I really want to do some cozy game with this assets. Will you add more animations to previous animals? I would like to do something like a life circle, with animals interacting with each other.
Hello! Yes I actually have planned a lot more animations as well types for the critters. But I am and will be a bit busy for a while. Once its all sorted though I am excited to get back to working on making more assets for all of you! Thanks for the love and support! <3
This is really awesome! I saw there was someone asking for the aseprite file. It would really be helpful if we want to make some tweaks and adjust to our game xD
Wow! What a gorgeous isometric set you have made! This is some majorly inspiring stuff. I haven't done too much isometric work myself but this for sure makes me want to give it more time and effor.
The animated characters add so much life to the pack as well.
This is a great asset ! ! Can you provide the aseprite file? I wish I could customize some assets?I want to separate assets into different layers for easy animation
Loool that borrow animation is super cool, would never have thought of that. That is a fun behavior to watch ingame :D I made a video of my game with your deer in it; take a look if you want:
(ignore that the deer stay bright when it gets dark, will be fixed)
Woaaaah! It's amazing!! Thanks for this! this is a huge help for me in pointing out what stuff I need to animate after I finish the animals section. :D I love the moving cloud shadows! <3
Thanks :D Your critters dont fit my artstyle 100% (I had to scale up the deer 3x, most other units are 2x upscaled) but still they are really cute and add a ton :D
In one of my videos you can probably see a bear. I made that myself, it took forever and the walk cycle animation is super bad xD 2 years later I made a horse and that turned out okay, but I really struggled with animating the 4 leg run cycle
I'm not super happy with the cloud shape but also idk how I would improve that^^ I am inspired by t3ssel8er on youtube, he has some great cloud effects and since he uses 3D engine they adapt to environment. My DIY game engine doesnt really support that^^
There is a Discord you can join if you wanna see more of the game, link is in the youtube comments.
Hey likewise :D The wolf turned out really epic with lots of personality, must have taken a lot of time and attention to detail, much talent very wow.
If you end up making more isometric creatures like this I'd defenitely add it to my game, maybe you could take paid comissions some day if IRL isnt too busy^^ cheers for now and good luck on the dungeon tileset you plan to do
Cool tiles; but even cooler boar! There are plenty of tilesets but I really struggle to find good wildlife in isometric perspective. If you draw more wildlife / forest animals I will DEFENITELY buy that set! Cheers!
Thanks so much!! really means a lot! I just took a short break from it. But jumping back in it. thinking about a new critter to add and some background animation sprites. Thanks again for the support! <3
Hi, thanks! No, the tiles aren't animated yet! but I am considering it! Ohh! that's actually a good idea! Like in Nimoyd right? I really loved their take on isometric! Will definitely look into it. Thank you!

Nice animations! Any chance we can get a more animations (like death) for the stag or completely new animals?
Perfect scale, amazing animation

wow beautiful

Hey, great work! How much do I have to pay for commercial use?
I am not sure that I understand description... Do you mean that CC-BY4 is applied only when person paid for asset?

Glad to see you back working on these! Your art style is really unique and these animal animations are some of the best I have seen on here.
I am sure you have a list of things you want to get done, but I would personally find a bird super useful. I know anything you make will be amazing!
Beautiful! Are you open for commissions? Is there a way I can contact you to discuss?
Hi! Unfortunately i am unable to accept any for the moment! once I do sort out all my stuff I will surely find a way to set something up for custom work! Thank you!
Are you sitll actively painting? I would like to see more from you. Your Itch.io page is empty.
I am still working on the new tileset bit by bit but due to irl stuff it has been going really slow. But I am excited to eventually beef it up with all kinds of content!
Nice. Can't wait to check them out when the time comes!
These are gorgeous

Thank you! Sorry for the late reply! I will update all of them soon to contain the aseprite files if I haven't already deleted them! :)
Hello! Aseprite files are now added to the critters folder! Apologies for the massive delay on this! Thank you!
Please make a wolf next :D You can make it a seperate asset too; I would buy again
Hello! thanks again for the patronage! I'm actually making the wolf now lol! Just finished uploading the badger now. :D

The isometric tileset is something you made or is it an asset pack i can found somewhere?
Wolf all done! Sorry it took so long! It is also now free! haha! Thanks again! Love your work! <3

Thanks so much!! really means a lot! I just took a short break from it. But jumping back in it. thinking about a new critter to add and some background animation sprites. Thanks again for the support! <3
you’re welcome! hype to see those new things then! I am making an online 1v1 / 2v2 old tactical jrpg with your assets
This looks amazing! Are the tiles animated? Any little critters/animals packs planned or recommended to match your style?
Hi, thanks! No, the tiles aren't animated yet! but I am considering it! Ohh! that's actually a good idea! Like in Nimoyd right? I really loved their take on isometric! Will definitely look into it. Thank you!
Little pig came out amazing!

Thank you! <3
It's an amazing creation
Thanks! Really means a lot to me!
